Coronary Artery Surgery

Fortunately, almost all common heart surgeries are performed at this advanced center.

The most common of these surgeries is the Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG). However, this center is also well-known in the country for performing other advanced heart surgeries.

In the CABG procedure, the coronary arteries, which are responsible for supplying blood to the heart, are bypassed or replaced by other arteries due to blockage and narrowing. The new replacement arteries may be veins from the leg (saphenous), chest arteries, and arm arteries. Using more arteries is associated with a longer lifespan of the new grafts or transplants. Therefore, in many patients with specific anatomical conditions, the all-arterial or all-artery method can be used, which is more complicated than the common method but is associated with better long-term results.
